Suicidal Snowflakes

Just because I have a short attention span doesn\’t mean I…

Mostly it’s just a mad-on for France.

Daily Dog says:

France is only one country in Europe…

That says something about your character that you don’t want to be associated with them 😉 France sure does act like they are the center of culture and civilization. Oh yeah, and that not only should America follow their lead, but the rest of the world. Mostly I just wanna say “shut up, France, you’re not so perfect. Get off your moral high horse.”

  3. Don’t forget your perception (in the US) is different from ours (Europe). In your country France has been turned into the ‘evil country’. I still don’t really understand why. Iraq had something to do with it, of course. But at that time other countries held the same opinions and did not get the ‘evil eye’. Most Europeans will tell you that the UK and Germany suck. And also, Europe is old. All European countries have a history and with that comes a certain ‘attitude’. I don’t think the French people as a whole are condescending. They’re a proud people, but so are Americans. You (meaning the US of course) present yourself as the leader of the world. You call the shots and manipulate the UN and blackmail all countries who don’t happen to agree with you. That might me a tad more annoying than wanting to be the epitome of culture and civilization. As for messing up. Lately, I think both countries have a good track record.

  4. Let me add this quote from the Aljazeera site (to get the opinion of a third party): “Just as Hurricane Katrina has exposed the ugliness of America’s segregation system, the ghettoes, racism, misery and poverty that lurk beneath the thin surface of economic prosperity and social harmony, the recent riots in Paris have laid bare the darker side of the city of lights. “

  5. Ahh. But I can wake up with the knowledge every day that I am not French. Any more. Good call on my ancestors part they got out during that nasty Hugonaut thing. France is like a pushy relative. They make “suggestions” as to how you should live your life, but if you don’t take those “suggestions,” they take it personally and attempt to “punish” you with emotional blackmail.

That’s the funny thing about the world… really. Everybody wants our money and aid and support, they just don’t want our imput. Not only do they want our money unconditionally, but they also want to tell us what we can do with it and how we should run our own country. If we followed Frace’s “suggestions,” we’d be in the same dire straights they find themselves in economically. I’m so glad marxism worked so well for france and germany. My only regret is that the marxists here won’t take the hint.

I also don’t take my opinions of anything from Aljazeera… which has an obvious slant and agenda. We do NOT have a segregation system. New Orleans is the victim of 60 years of marxist rule, and another rant for another time. Ten bucks says France asks for “aid” either directly from the US, or from the UN, and wanting the US to contribute the most to the UN “relief” project. Honestly–i’d be very happy if we wern’t part of the UN. the Oil for Food scandle has convinced me that it’s most likley corrupt beyond redemption.

First off, Aljazeera credibility is right up there with Kim Il Sung.
The only ugliness that was exposed was the greed and stupidity of people that would loot non survival items in a location that these items have very little value. It also exposed that socialism is a failure. The ghettos in the US are self created by those in those location, they refuse to work to keep their property in good shape, they burn and destroy their own property, and run those that attempt to better themselves and their property. Prosperity comes by hard work and not a hand out and appeasment. Those that riot in France should be dealt with an iron fist, the French people should take their nation back from the socialist and the anarchist.
If Europe fails to wake from its socialist induced torpor, they will be dust under the heals of anarchist and muslim extremist.

  7. I think Aljazeera is at least as objective as CNN. Face it people. Every nation in the world has its own agenda. Or at least part of the nation has. The influence of the media is just part of that. In Belgium (a very small country) there are like two major channels that report news. Comparing the two is enough to know everything the media touches is biased. We are fed the information ‘someone’ wants us to have. And yes, in Europe it is a widely held belief that the situation in New Orleans is the result of racism and (unofficial) segregation. People do not choose to live in ghettos. Ghettos are the result of a multitude of social factors and they are the same all over the world. It’s only natural that most of US citizens are unable to see it like that. I don’t think France will ask anyone’s help. Anyway, how is France so different from the US? You have had race riots too (and I’m not talking about the sixties and seventies here).

“If Europe fails to wake from its socialist induced torpor, they will be dust under the heals of anarchist and muslim extremist.” I didn’t know we were socialists. I would not like to call the youngsters who are rioting anarchists, they are not intellectual enough for that, but the people behind the riots might be. As for Muslim extremists… I’m not afraid. History will take its course. All-powerful nations never remain unchallenged and unbeaten.
