Suicidal Snowflakes

Just because I have a short attention span doesn\’t mean I…

…but really, don’t we?

It may be that our role on this planet is not to worship God, but to create him.
— Arthur C. Clarke

That’s how I feel whenever I’m at fluffy bunny church environment that’s trying not to offend or challenge. I feel like in our effort to coddle people, and not challenge their own ideas of God, we’re trying to create him in our own image of who we would like God to be. It’s also how I feel about “church songs” that talk about US sooooo much. It seems more like we’re just envisioning God how we would like him to be, and informing him of how he relates to US, instead of letting God stand on his own. He’s pretty magnificant on his own and doesn’t need US to be great.
